The
Story of
STUDIO TN
Collection

Leading the design and construction of a project takes years of constant attention to the environment and sustainability of the materials chosen. She detailed the client's needs in building vocabularies and embraced ordinances and codes to the poetry of concrete, steel, and flow. One day the project is finished, and the next one comes and goes, repeating the cycle of creation and separation. She sits, left with only the memory of each conception.

She explores plants and maps each memory with a fragrant note. A work from the past is now a source of inspiration to build a new blend of perfume. When she opens the bottle, releasing its fragrance into the air, she is again immersed in her past design. Architectural memories transformed into a unique scent, the scents recalling her joyful creations.

All labels are watercolor paintings of specific projects to connect the visual memory to the scent.

STONES N' ROSES

This gravel fence was designed for a private residence in Palo Alto. Blocking loose gravels between steel mesh to eliminate binding materials, keeping natural stones intact.

TREEHOUSES N' OAKS

A private residence hugging a mature California Oak Tree. From each floor residents experience different parts of this tree. In the 2nd-floor master bedroom shadows of upper branches in the morning sun on the floor to ceiling translucent glazings create playful natural wallpapers while the clear glazing on the ground level exposes the details of the tree trunk.

The solar panel trellis extending out to reach the solar arrays without the need to cut back the tree.

GREENWALLS N' JASMINES

Top Notes:     Black Pepper, Jasmine

Heart Notes: Jasmine, Lavender, Freshly cut greens

Base Notes:   Earthy aroma of Vetiver, Oak-moss

 POOLS N’ TOBACCOS

The scent connects the nostalgia of the romantic era of pipe tobacco by the poolside in the history of the American midcentury lifestyle. The perfume signifies materiality(remodeling of an existing midcentury structure and pool) and immateriality (the immaterial memory of the sweet and earthy smell of tobacco by the poolside in the 1950s). It aimed at projecting a fragrance that evoked a reminiscence of the remodeling of this Eichler House and its relationship to the fantasy of the forbidden pleasant smell of tobacco.

ENVIRONMENTAL MISSION

All of our ingredients are:

Organic - we only use organic and wild-crafted botanical ingredients in all of our products

Freshly made - we do not add any preservatives

Water conscious - our processes involve a minimum amount of water. Essential Oils are mixed and diluted in natural carriers with no water. We pride ourselves on achieving longevity in our perfumes without relying on synthetic musks, many of which are non-biodegradable and pose a huge risk to clean water.

California made - our fragrances are developed and produced in San Francisco, California

Supporting small farmers- as all-natural perfumers, we buy materials that are sourced across the world from small farmers including many developing nations. We support charities concerned with Fair Trade, Clean Water, and the Education of Girls in such nations.

Vegan and cruelty-free - our products are made exclusively with plant-derived materials. Classic perfumery ingredients such as deer musk, civet, or Cestrum are entirely unacceptable to us, as are synthetic substitutes. Our quest is to match the seductive and satisfying quality of great classic fragrances without using such ingredients.

Forest friendly- we only source ingredients that are sustainably farmed to avoid contributing to deforestation.

Reducing waste - we strive to minimize the use of plastics in our product and packaging
