bu-eh Collection
Bu-eh (meaning smell of ... in Persian) is the journey of the artist's admiration for scents and nature and how to make them thrive, selecting out stable forms and blends that age well, embracing the impermanence each has to offer.
Some value predictability and stability. You know what you’re getting every time. To achieve this end, some products use fixing agents that have negative health and environmental impacts. This is unnatural, there is nothing unchanging in Nature. The quest for perfect stability is an effort to freeze time, in an effort to seek a sense of security in an uncertain world. However, Nature teaches us that adaptability and evolution are key to survive and thrive!
Some of the finest things improve with age: a fine cognac, wine, or a fine patina. Bu-eh collection is crafted to evolve. Its scent changes over time, charming new qualities emerging over time. This is nature. This we love.

In the search for perfect long-lasting plant-based blends, The artist arrived at a new realization: To evaluate each blend based on how they age by deemphasizing the longevity of a blend from the time it’s applied and emphasizing how well the blend ages over the months. Like a fine wine, these scents are designed to age well.
We arrive at a magnificent appreciation of the wisdom of crafting a well-aging scent.

Organic - we only use organic and wild-crafted botanical ingredients in all of our products

Water conscious - our processes involve a minimum amount of water. Essential Oils are mixed and diluted in natural carriers with no water. We pride ourselves on achieving longevity in our perfumes without relying on synthetic musks, many of which are non-biodegradable and pose a huge risk to clean water.

California made - our fragrances are developed and produced in San Francisco, California

Supporting small farmers- as all-natural perfumers, we buy materials that are sourced across the world from small farmers, including in many developing nations. We support charities concerned with Fair Trade, Clean Water, and the Education of Girls in such nations.

Vegan and cruelty-free - our products are made exclusively with plant-derived materials. Classic perfumery ingredients such as deer musk, civet, or Cestrum are entirely unacceptable to us, as are synthetic substitutes. Our quest is to match the seductive and satisfying quality of great classic fragrances without using such ingredients.

Forest friendly- we only source ingredients that are sustainably farmed to avoid contributing to deforestation.
